ABOUT IRENA WIKTOR
Professional Dancer. Choreographer. Educator. Massage Therapist. A versatile artist dedicated to exploring the transformative power of movement.
A multidisciplinary artist encompassing roles such as dancer, performer, teacher, model, and massage therapist with formal training in contemporary dance and massage.
She enriched her skills while refining her thesis at the Göteborg Opera Dance Company, Regensburg Dance Theater, and doing an internship at Aura Dance Theater.
As a freelancer, Irena focuses on teaching, creating captivating duo works, and bringing movement art into everyday life through diverse collaborations. She collaborated with Aerial Dance Berlin, expanding her practice in flying and vertical dance.
In 2022 she created a dance piece with Carolina Avellaneda "P E A C E" which had its premiere at Lange Nacht der Bühnen, Linz, Austria.
Irena is particularly passionate about partnering in dance, exploring dynamics, efficiency, weight-sharing and somatic practices. Her approach blends narrative and abstraction, creating works that balance technique and emotion.
