ABOUT IRENA WIKTOR

Irena Wiktor is an artist working in fields: contemporary dance, vertical/aerial dance, modeling and event organization. She holds formal education in contemporary dance, massage and body work and event management. Irena enriched her skills while refining her thesis at the Göteborg Opera Dance Company, Regensburg Dance Theater, and doing an internship at Aura Dance Theater. In 2024 she joined Aerial Dance Berlin where she broadened her skills in aerial dance.

Irena is particularly passionate about partnering in dance, exploring dynamics, efficiency, weight-sharing and somatic practices. Her approach blends narrative and abstraction, creating works that balance technique and emotion. She is strongly influenced by physical theatre and dance theatre. She seeks organic and powerful expressions, focusing on embodied presence, clarity of movement, and physical authenticity.

Her most important works are "P E A C E" co-created with Carolina Avellaneda, "Sandbox" and "Togetherness" exhibitions with live performance created with photographer Rafał Korzeniowski, and regular cooperation between GEOTECHNEX SP. Z O. O. and Rafał Korzeniowski creating promo and visual content.
